An opportunity has arisen for a Library and studentHQ Administrator to join the Student Administration & Library Services team. This position is responsible for handling a variety of student and library enquiries via face-to-face, phone (inbound and outbound), email, social media channels and live chat. This role is the single service point for all students and the general public and handles a wide range of library and student enquiries. A dedication to providing outstanding customer service and attention to detail are both critical to this role.

This position reports to the Library & studentHQ Team Leader and is expected to handle a variety of student and library enquiries in the broad field of customer service, cashiering (student related fees and payments and library payments), student lifecycle assistance (e.g. enrolment and timetabling assistance, results, ID cards) and library services assistance (e.g. lending and equipment booking enquiries.) for students studying both on campus and online. You will also perform general administrative tasks and undertake a variety of library related tasks, as required.

The incumbent will be required to work flexibly across all Library & studentHQ team activities including working on other campuses to ensure a student centric approach to providing customer service.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Completion of an associated diploma level qualification with relevant work-related experience or a certificate level qualification with post-certificate relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of high quality administrative and support services within a demanding, customer focused environment
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of internal and external people, and maintain confidentiality.
