We are seeking a talented individual to join our Discretionary Trust team at JLT (a business of Marsh). This role will be based in the Adelaide – Frome office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As an Account Executive you will assist the Senior and Principal Account Executives in all aspects of client services including client contact, administration and technical support.
The role involves supporting brokers and clients with alternative risk finance solutions and discretionary trusts, managing accounts, providing advice, and administering plans. It includes addressing broker and customer inquiries accurately, identifying service trends, and overseeing trust renewals. The position also entails day-to-day client service and account management across various solutions to enhance service quality and retention. Additionally, it supports business growth by servicing existing accounts and assisting the new business team and client executives in expanding the trust portfolio.
We will count on you to:
Support Senior Account Executives/Principals/Managing Principal in developing and managing customised risk management and insurance programmes.
Assist in building and maintaining long-term relationships with key client decision makers through regular meetings.
Understand clients’ business, risk management, and insurance needs.
Implement renewal and broking strategies as instructed.
Help develop additional business from existing portfolios and acquire new clients.
Introduce new products aligned with company strategies to benefit clients.
Assist with account retention and defence strategies.
Support claim negotiations to achieve fair settlements for clients.
Ensure timely and accurate documentation, quotations, and premium calculations.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records in accordance with company principles.
What you need to have:
Tier 1 qualification
MIS Compliant or willingness to obtain
Demonstrated experience within the insurance industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient Excel skills
Ability to produce a high standard of work, demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail.
Good analytical skills
