Modedu is on a mission to reimagine private education in Australia — blending the power of structured 1:1 tutoring, academic coaching, and tech-enabled learning tools to give every student the support they deserve. We’re trusted by nearly 500 families across the country and backed by a team of 70+ incredible educators.
We’re now looking for a reliable, empathetic, and proactive Account Manager / Customer Success Agent to join our team after hours and on weekends — helping families access support and ensuring everything runs smoothly during our busiest time.
What you’ll be doing:
- Responding to inbound customer inquiries (via phone, SMS, or email) with speed, clarity, and care.
- Supporting sales conversations — explaining our tutoring subscription model and helping families get started.
- Managing lesson bookings, cancellations, or rescheduling in real-time.
- Liaising with tutors and customers to assign the right tutor and ensure consistent lesson delivery.
- Handling basic subscription management, billing queries, and credit checks when required.
- Logging interactions and keeping our CRM updated.
Availability Needed:
- Weeknights: ~5:00 PM to 8:00 PM (AEST)
- Weekends: ~10:00 AM to 1:00 PM (flexible across Sat)
- Closed on Sunday
- ~10–15 hours per week to start, with potential to scale.
Who this is perfect for:
- You’re based in Australia and available outside of typical 9–5 hours.
- You’ve worked in customer service, education, or sales roles before (bonus if you've been in ed-tech, tutoring, or startup environments).
- You’re tech-savvy and comfortable navigating CRM tools, Google Sheets, or booking systems.
- You communicate clearly, calmly, and confidently — even under pressure.
- You genuinely care about helping families and students succeed.
