Back off a solid performance in FY25 and because of an internal promotion, we have an outstanding opportunity to succeed within our medium business Account Management team, covering customers in the Sunshine Coast and Far North Queensland. In this position you will partner with businesses and sell parcel delivery services, Account Managing around 40-50 medium sized revenue customers.

In this role you are going to help your customers around the Sunshine Coast & FNQ  thrive as their businesses grow. In this role, working from our Brisbane office but mainly on the road visiting customers (including a quarterly 4-5 day regional visit to your customers around Townsville & Cairns), you will be a key trusted advisor to businesses as they use Australia Post on their growth journey. 

With B2B, B2C and international freight solutions will be at your fingertips, as well as the entire sales and account management infrastructure of Australia Post.

In this role you will deliver for local businesses. You will have a portfolio of roughly 50 customers to manage, a mix of large and medium businesses, with a wide variety of issues for you to solve and requirements for you to fill.

You will work with a portfolio of business leaders in Australia, growing revenue and developing new business in a portfolio that is currently trading above the target.

What you’ll deliver with us

Through delighting our medium business customers with excellent account management, and new business development you will help Australia Post achieve our ambitious growth targets.  

You’ll 

•    Visit customers, understand their business and work to develop solutions for them. 

•    Solve customer problems and help them access our network. 

•    Manage existing accounts to increase share of wallet and opportunities to sell additional freight services. 

•    Present and conduct joint business reviews with c-suite leaders of eCommerce & B2B businesses. 

•    Analyse the accounts in the portfolio to identify risks and opportunities for growth. 

•    Develop long term trusted relationships with key customers. 

•    Develop new business across this portfolio, riding the incredible momentum we’ve seen in new business activity across this area to exceed targets.

About You

You’ll have sales or customer centric experience and a credibility with customers face to face, you’ll have a curious mind and the ability to build deep and lasting relationships with your clients. You’ll thrive on challenges and have a positive growth mindset that has demonstrated itself in succeeding in prior roles. 

It is important that you have a customer focused viewpoint, a commercial mindset, a growth attitude an ability to learn and to be curious. If you are a customer obsessed energy booster, who is a lifelong learner and can act as a commercial champion for your portfolio, this might be the role for you. 

Freight Services or delivery services experience at Australia Post or another freight business is very beneficial. Understanding the industry, how to get things done for customers, and how to make their experience as good and seamless as possible is going to make you very successful in this role.
