The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer, to join our high performing Finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will be responsible for the performance of the Accounts Payable functions and general accounting duties of moderate difficulty in relation to depth of analysis and use of judgment.
This a full-time permanent role, based in our well-appointed Subiaco corporate office.
About the Role
Posting of electronic invoices and distribution to departments
Managing the accounts payable e-mail in box
Generating and checking the accuracy of weekly/EOM supplier payments including Manual, EFT, BPAY, Foreign Currency and preparation of same for submission to Accountants
Other Monthly/Quarterly ad hoc payments as required
Loading/entering the various supplier payments into relevant bank accounts
Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
Liaise with onsite and corporate personnel to resolve purchase order, receipting and credit transactions
Liaise with personnel and suppliers to resolve payment issues
Liaise with personnel and suppliers regarding onboarding new suppliers in the Felix/Eftsure Vendor platforms
Raising of purchase requisitions and receipting for the finance team
Providing the Financial Controller with timely information for cash flow forecasting.
Skills and Experiences:
About You
Demonstrate at least 3 years, end to end Accounts Payable experience
Pronto or equivalent accounting software experience
Microsoft Office Skills, in particular MS Excel, to intermediate level
An individual who is both driven and capable of quickly absorbing new information and skills
High attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Customer service focus, liaising with suppliers and personnel of all levels
An ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Exposure to Felix Vendor platform and Eftsure highly regarded.
