Who are we looking for?
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Acoustic Engineer to join our team in Newcastle or Tuggerah and grow their career supporting projects in our Northen NSW region.
Your focus of this role is to conduct noise and vibration assessments for a broad variety of small and large scale projects, including in key transport infrastructure, power & renewable energy, buildings, water and environmental noise.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Working on diverse projects whilst applying your technical expertise in acoustic consulting
- Conducting noise and vibration impact assessments for infrastructure projects that include renewables, road, rail, water, environmental & buildings
- Noise modelling and data analysis, detailed technical reports and documentation
- Designing noise and vibration mitigation treatments
- Noise compliance, management plans, and field monitoring activities
- Assisting in writing and submission of tenders & proposals
What you will bring to the team:
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, science or similar
- 5-10 years relevant consulting experience in acoustic/noise/vibration engineering
- Experience with noise modelling software (SoundPLAN, CadnaA, EASE etc)
- Well-developed understanding of relevant standards, guidelines and measurement equipment
- Knowledge or an interest in programming (R Studio, MATLAB, Python) and/or data visualisation skills (Power BI, Tableau)
