We are currently seeking a dedicated Admin and Student Support Officer to join our team at our Chatswood and Gordon centres on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and Friday afternoon.
Role Overview: As an Admin and Student Support Officer, you will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for our students. Your excellent customer service skills and proactive attitude will ensure our students' needs are met effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet and assist visitors, ensuring they are directed appropriately.
- Accurately enter student applications, attendance records, and results into our systems.
- Proactively follow up on student-related issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate student orientations and events, fostering a sense of community.
- Collaborate and contribute actively in regular team meetings.
- Process student requests and manage course variations efficiently.
- Assist with timetabling, class allocations, and student course progress tracking.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of student and course records and other sensitive documents.
- Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Possess an extremely helpful and supportive attitude towards students and colleagues.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Previous experience working in a multicultural environment is highly valued.
- Proficiency in computer applications and strong English writing skills.
- Ability to work flexibly across our Chatswood and Gordon centres.
- Availability to work on weekends and weekdays.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
