Activa Communications is a wholesale connectivity and communications provider helping MSPs to increase revenue and efficiency. We provide IT support companies with access to a panel of Tier 1 connectivity and voice suppliers, as well as our own exclusive platforms, and empower them with highly efficient systems and processes to help them succeed.
We're on the hunt for an administration officer to join our team in Hobart.
Our ideal candidate will:
- Have an eye for detail, and be focussed on dotting the i's and crossing the t's.
- Be highly organised, and capable of juggling multiple tasks with different priorities and timeframes.
- Have experience working in an office environment and dealing with people.
- Be familiar with modern software applications, and keen to learn ours.
- Have experience in an I.T. or telecommunications business.
- Have experience with basic bookkeeping and Xero.
The role entails the coordination and administration of the services that we arrange and bill customers for, assisting both customers and our resellers.
The key functions that you will need to perform are:
- Maintaining our billing systems by adding, updating and removing services and charges as changes are made.
- Processing monthly billing runs and reconciling payments.
- Assisting customers with billing queries including resending invoices and applying payments.
- Processing and managing orders received from resellers using our internal systems.
- Coordinating onsite appointments when new services need to be connected by communicating with resellers and customers.
- Basic bookkeeping involving applying payments and arranging payments to suppliers (note, we have an accountant/bookkeeper - only basic accounting entries involved).
A competitive salary package based on skills, ability and experience is on offer, and we are open to flexible work hours and limited hybrid work arrangements. The role may suit someone returning to the work force and seeking a school - hours only arrangement.
