Remuneration: $34.46 - $ 35.54 per hour
Hours Per Week: 38 (Job Share may be considered for part time hours)

What you'll be doing
In this role you’ll be supporting the smooth operation of outpatient services through a blend of administrative coordination and quality customer service. You’ll help ensure patients are seen promptly and staff have what they need to succeed.

  • Coordinating clinic appointments and scheduling
  • Registering patients and managing waitlists
  • Supporting Medicare billing and revenue processes
  • Delivering quality front-desk customer service
  • Contributing to team goals and office functioning

Selection Criteria:

  • Proven extensive clerical experience in a busy reception/customer service position.
  • Evidence of high level verbal and written communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and also as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Expertise in computer skills, proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and Client/Patient Management Systems.
  • Proven high level organisational skills including the ability to problem solve, prioritise workload, multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify issues of relevance, sensitivity and confidentiality and knowing when to escalate matters of importance and/or urgency.
