THE OPPORTUNITY
- Salary: $66,921 - $72,661 per annum pro rata + 12% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience)
- Position Status and Time Fraction: Full Time, 1.0 EFT. Fixed term contract of employment until 4/10/2025.

Join Holmesglen’s award-winning Student Recruitment team established in 2023 and dedicated to providing prospective students with a seamless, supportive application and enrolment experience. Focused on helping students find the right course, the team ensures quality outcomes through personalised advice, detailed Pre-Training Reviews (PTR), and connection to essential support services.
As an Admissions Officer, you will:
- Provide high-quality customer service as the first point of contact, delivering accurate information and guidance to prospective and current students across multiple channels.
- Assess student eligibility in line with government requirements, conduct Pre-Training Interviews and issue accurate fee quotes to ensure valid offers are made.
- Maintain up-to-date student records and communications through CRM and SMS systems, ensuring clear and consistent documentation of all interactions.
- Collaborate with faculties, support services, and marketing teams to coordinate recruitment activities, support outbound campaigns, and contribute to increasing student enrolments.
- Help turn student applications into enrolments by staying in touch with applicants, keeping track of their progress, and making sure everything is processed smoothly and on time.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- A degree in Business, Business Administration, or a related discipline, and/or substantial experience in the education sector.
- Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to provide clear advice and build positive relationships.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism, confidentiality, and a strong service focus.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, databases, and internet-based systems. Experience with CRM or Student Management Systems is an advantage.
- A proactive and accountable team player who collaborates effectively and adapts well to change.
- Demonstrates sound judgement, problem-solving skills, and an understanding of business and stakeholder needs.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
- Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
