About the role: This is a newly created opportunity for a Project Controls Officer for someone looking to diversify their resume! This exciting role sits within our Bulk Project Team.
As the Project Control Advisor, I you will be responsible for managing project costs (budgets, actuals and forecasts) and co-ordinating effectively across a multi disciplined team and delivering project status reports to Project Managers and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update project cost data including budgets, actual costs and forecasts and prepare detailed cost reports to ensure projects remain within financial guidelines
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules including fully resourced loaded activities, critical path methodology and logically linked tasks.
- Track, monitor, measure, and report on the progress of the project throughout its entire lifestyle
- Support project control processes such as change management procedures to manage project scope, schedule and costs effectively
- Identifying and reporting on potential cost and schedule risks and advising on mitigation strategies
- Coordinate and collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting of project status and performance metrics
- Establish and maintain project documentation and records.
About you:

In respects to the technicalities, you’ll need:
- Experience within Project Management, Finance, Engineering, and / or Construction Management administration.
- High level of skill and proven extensive experience in project controls or related roles
- Well-developed communication and time management skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience utilising Primavera P6 or a project planning software desirable
- Experience using SAP desirable
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience and knowledge of railway and infrastructure projects, preferred.
