Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Allied Health Assistant to join the Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy teams at Northern hospital Epping.
- Clinical experience working in an inpatient and group setting
- Experience working under the direction of a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist
- Demonstrates a client centred focus in the provision of care
- Demonstrated teamwork and appreciation of multidisciplinary practice
- Understanding of the roles and contributions of different disciplines to patient care and discharge planning
- Demonstrated ability to work independently within Allied Heath Assistant scope of practice and seek advice/support when required.
- Demonstrated negotiation and effective interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
- Possesses self-management skills with an ability to meet timelines and prioritise competing demands
