What you'll be doing
Join Western Sydney LHD Mental Health Services to support people with complex mental health needs in their recovery journey through collaborative, person-centred care.
- Deliver recovery-oriented mental health services
- Provide assessment, intervention & care co-ordination
- Partner with consumers, carers & community services
- Advocate for consumer rights & wellbeing
- Contribute to quality improvement & service development

Essential Requirements:
Qualification: Relevant tertiary qualifications as a Psychologist, or Occupational Therapist or Social Worker.
Registration: Full registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist, or Occupational Therapist OR for Social Workers, eligibility to be a member of the AASW.

Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated skills in mental health and discipline specific assessments and interventions and experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illness.
- Demonstrated understanding and ability to work within experience working in a team and/or knowledge of the principles that guide service delivery within this model of practice
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate meaningfully with consumers and carers with a commitment and understanding of recovery principles in mental health service provision.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of NSW Mental Health Act, 2007.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and good interpersonal skills.
- Computer competence and literacy including the use of database systems.
- Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia
