About the Role
We are looking for a warm, reliable, and customer-focused Receptionist to be the friendly face and voice of our clinic. You’ll play a key role in supporting our practitioners, Practice Manager, and clients by keeping our front desk running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming clients and creating a positive first impression
- Answering incoming calls and responding to emails with professionalism and care
- Booking, rescheduling, and confirming client appointments
- Processing payments including DVA, TAC, NDIS, WorkSafe, Medicare, and private billings
- Data entry, reconciling daily transactions, and maintaining accurate client records
- Assisting the Practice Manager and Exercise Physiologists with admin support
- Keeping the reception area and clinic tidy and organised
- Responding to client enquiries with warmth, clarity, and efficiency
- Ensuring high levels of customer service at every touchpoint
What We’re Looking For
- A warm, approachable, and caring personality
- Confidence in phone communication and email etiquette
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Team player with a proactive and can-do attitude
- Good organisational and multitasking abilities
- Basic knowledge of Medicare, Care Plans, and third-party billing preferred (training provided)
- Previous experience in allied health, medical, or wellness settings preferred
- Computer literacy and confidence with appointment systems and data entry

Job Type: Casual
Pay: $25.00 – $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 20 per week

- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
