A new opportunity has arisen to join the Credit Administration, Japanese & Korean Corporate Banking Division as an Analyst. The position will provide a motivated individual an excellent opportunity to work in a front office covering various sectors and products.
This position will be responsible for the following:
- Preparing, reviewing, and finalising various internal and external reports for Corporate Banking and Japanese Banking, Head Office, Credit Decisioning, Compliance and Credit Risk Management teams.
- Supporting preparation of inspections during APRA, Japanese-FSA, Bank of Japan and other external and internal audit inspections.
- Supporting the delivery of detailed credit analysis and financial analysis of more complex corporate customers and potential deals.
- Supporting the generation of detailed financial credit analysis using standard models to provide comprehensive information and analysis.
- Monitoring deadlines of any required reports and credit applications.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Experience within a Bank or Financial Institution in a Credit Administration / Risk environment within Front, Middle or Back office.
- Comprehensive understanding of banking practices and processes of the role of credit & related administration within a bank.
- Ability to condense complex issues into a readable format in report writing or through other communications..
- Ability to understand financial products, and financial statements.
- High level of numerical and strong financial analysis skills, with high-level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Influencing skills both in writing through presenting a persuasive argument and verbally when handling objections.
- Tertiary qualification in accounting or business related field.
- Good understanding of APLMA loan documentation.
- Japanese language skills are highly desirable.
