The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) implements the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which is one of the biggest social reforms in the country since Medicare. As an Agency, we support more than 717,000 participants with a significant and permanent disability, and the families and carers of those living with disability. For many Australians, this will be the first time they receive the disability support they need. The Technology Services Division has a new and exciting opportunity as an APS5 Enterprise Service Management (ESM) Administrator within the Agency ICT Services Branch.
The Agency ICT Services Branch supports all ICT systems and infrastructure including the primary business applications such as SAP CRM and Salesforce CRM.
The Corporate Applications Directorate is a brilliant team to work in. We play a critical role in the Agencies success, ensuring that several platforms and apps are maintained and secure. Our responsibilities span from enterprise grade contact centre solutions, ITSM tooling, SMS products, Board Paper Management apps, Form and survey capabilities and much more. Responsibilities include but not limit to:
- Assisting development of support processes for new features and enhancements while contributing and developing to technical knowledge base.
- Managing and configuring Jira projects, Jira Service Management, workflows, automations and permissions.
- Prioritising work items within work queue and supporting the level 1 ICT Service Desk by advising on diagnostic steps for supported applications.
- Supporting ICT Service Desk as a point of escalation.
- Implementing ICT change management processes.

The APS5 Enterprise Service Management Administrator is accountable under limited supervision to undertake moderately complex to complex ICT Services work. Legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies and precedents guide the position.
The position is a team membership position and is accountable for organising their workflow and making independent decisions relating to an area of responsibility. The position will be required to provide policy advice within an area of specialisation with advice based on policies and legislation.
The APS5 Enterprise Service Management Administrator will be required to undertake specialist, technical, policy and analysis activities and tasks using available information where options are not always evident. It will be required to perform procedural, clerical, administrative and operational tasks that supports and contributes to NDIA’s objectives to “build a world-leading National Disability Insurance Scheme”.

While this role is ideally performed from Deakin, ACT, Surry Hills, NSW, and Geelong, VIC, Richmond, VIC, Brisbane, QLD, Perth, WA, however remote working arrangements may be considered. We intend to fill this role in an ongoing capacity, however non-ongoing roles up to 12 months with the possibility of extension up to 2 years may be offered.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police History check, Worker Screening check and/or Working with Children Check (where required) and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship.
