About Us
Wave Art is a vibrant Art Studio, Art Therapy center, and Art Gallery located in the heart of Crows Nest. We offer engaging experiences such as ‘paint pARTy’ and ‘Create and Meditate’ sessions for both kids and adults, as well as team-building art classes for corporate groups. Our therapeutic and mindful art experiences are tailored to meet the unique interests and needs of individuals and groups of all ages.
The Role
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team! Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collecting our after-school little artists from the local primary school and safely walking them back to the studio.
- Setting up art activities and guiding the children during the after-school sessions.
- Tidying up and cleaning the studio once the kids have left.
Hours
- Hours will vary based on demand. Typically, we need assistance on:
- Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM
- Some weekends for kids' art parties
- School holidays for all-day art camps
Requirements
- A background in working with children (WWCC required).
- A genuine interest in painting and the arts.
- An ABN
Salary
$25 per hour if assisting in classroom
$30 per hour if leading the classroom
