  • Asset and Facilities Support Officer role within Fleet Replacement team
  • Full time temporary role until 30 June 2026, with a possibility of extension or ongoing
  • NSW SES State Warehouse located at Coniston
  • Work in volunteer-based agency supporting communities of NSW

About the opportunity

The NSW SES Fleet Replacement team coordinates all activities related to the initiation and design of next-generation fleet assets, manages acquisition and procurement processes, and facilitates effective handover and delivery of new assets into service. As part of the Fleet Replacement team the Asset and Facilities Support Officer is responsible to ensure the timely movement of goods through the State Warehouse, to support contracted build and delivery of fleet assets.

About you

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be a self-starter who can work diligently and effectively in a dynamic team environment
  • Be organised, proactive and accountable and thrive in a complex and fast-paced environment
  • Be highly motivated with strong organisational skills
  • Be able to remain calm and focused on challenging situations
  • Have experience working in a large store or warehouse environment and be familiar with conventional warehouse inventory tracking systems and procedures
  • Be a fast learner with good attention to detail
  • Hold a current forklift operator’s license
  • Hold a current Driver’s license
  • A current truck license would be desirable
  • Experience using SAP is preferred but is not essential.
