The Waverley Council Development Assessment team is currently seeking a Business Support Officer to provide high quality administrative and operational support to our business unit.

The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Deliver a broad range of administrative and operational support tasks to ensure smooth business unit operations.
  • Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to assist with planning and process improvement
  • Contribute to the delivery of high-quality services and efficient business outcomes
  • Assist with the review and development of business procedures and practices
  • Liase with internal stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and support

About You

  • Certificate III or IV in business administration or similar.
  • Proven experience and demonstrated abilities in high level operational and administrative support.
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft Office and maintaining databases, including relevant Finance and PC applications.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills and sound attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and cooperative approach to working with others.
  • Proven organisational skills and ability to prioritise and complete workloads to timeframes.
