About the role

Are you interested in securing great conservation outcomes for widespread species?

Keen to support a team influencing the direction of threatened species conservation in the future?

Then come and join our team in Saving our Species and help set the strategic direction for threatened species conservation projects across the state!

The role assists in development and coordination of operational policy and programs, and in the provision of guidance and technical support to facilitate the regional delivery of programs to protect threatened species and ecosystems.


About You

You are passionate about threatened species and would like to bring your organisational skills and positive approach to tackling new challenges. You have a background in science or natural resource management and strong communication and problem-solving skills, and would like to apply these to supporting conservation programs, developing operational policy, and providing technical guidance.


To be successful in the role, ideally you will have:

  • A degree in environmental science or similar
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in data management with Excel
  • Experience supporting project delivery
  • Experience engaging stakeholders
