In the role of Associate Director, Emerging Corporate, you will join the Emerging Corporate & Origination team that’s doubling down on customer obsession.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Develop and manage a portfolio of key Emerging Corporate clients, including Technology and eCommerce
- Identify new business and referral opportunities & establish, develop and utilise networks of internal and external contacts to aid achievement of revenue targets.
- Leading origination and structuring of new transactions
- Maintain and enhance the credit risk profile and profitability of the portfolio.
- Consult with both the broader Business & Private Bank business and Corporate & Institutional Banking team to assist with the smooth transitioning of Emerging Corporate clients.
- Implement annual business/strategic plans for the customer portfolio allocated.
- Support the Deal Structuring & Execution team in the preparation of business lending proposals outside own authorities with full justification for recommendations, including obtaining and analysing industry and business information.
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- Strong prior demonstrated experience within business banking, corporate banking and/or similar related.
- Comprehensive understanding of business and commercial practices with significant emphasis on business development, sales, lending, credit assessment and control experience.
- Proven track record of quickly establishing and maintaining strong, positive working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders internally and externally.
- A commitment to strong risk culture, conduct and compliance risk.
- Experience and ability to engage, partner and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience working in a highly regulated environment but also with a continuous improvement lens and comfortable with autonomy.
- Business related degree and/or post-graduate professional qualification is preferred.
