Barista – Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and friendly barista to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a welcoming and engaging environment for all customers
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffee and teas
- Assist customers with menu choices, take accurate orders and ensure efficient service
- Make product recommendations, highlight brewing methods and upsell menu items
- Handle payments (cash, card, mobile) accurately
- Prepare and package menu items for dine-in or takeaway
- Monitor and maintain coffee and kitchen equipment; report any issues promptly
- Help manage stock levels and restock displays and counters when needed
- Keep all work, preparation, and customer areas clean and sanitary
- Follow all health and safety standards and procedures
- Provide customer feedback on new menu items to management
- Stay up to date on all menu items, ingredients, and brewing methods
