This position is responsible for providing business support to the Executive Director, Health Industry Training within the requirements of the National Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015.
A primary focus and objective of this position is to provide a high standard of business management and operational support directly to the Executive Director.
The successful person should be a self-starter, demonstrating a proactive approach together with strong organisational skills, combined with a proven ability to work independently.
The successful person must show enthusiasm for supporting the Executive Director in securing efficient and seamless operations of the business.
Your strong organisational skills should be combined with your demonstrated self- starter abilities. You should possess a proactive nature with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative, rather than simply reacting to requests combined with the capability to work independently and efficiently.
The position will ensure the efficient and effective functioning of all aspects of the business systems, policies and procedures under direction and in conjunction with Executive Director.
Complete Government reporting as instructed by the Executive Director.
Take a pivotal role in the recruitment, induction and training of staff.
Play a pivotal role in the monitoring and improvement of administration procedures and functions.
Take an active role in internal audits and business development activities.
Play a pivotal and constructive role in pursuit of excellence in leading by example through promoting and maintaining team spirit , documenting and supporting change process .
Demonstrate leadership by abiding by the HIT Code of Conduct in supporting team members to reach their full potential to maximize the full attribute HIT activities.
Develop effective working relationships with staff, students and stakeholders.
Provide administration support to staff as requested
Provide quality customer service in relation to enquires and requests by internal and external key stakeholders.
Establishing program policies, practices and implementation plans to meet contractual requirements as set down by the funding body including:
- Contractual reporting
- Employer/industry engagement
- Monitoring programs to ensure performance outcomes are met in the required timeframes
Under direction of the Executive Director assist with the establishment of new programs including:
- Developing marketing material, Expressions of Interest forms and eNewsletter
- Create key stakeholder contact lists
- Venue hire, catering and course materials
- Develop program spreadsheet to document relevant information
Manage website and aXcelerate updates and changes.
Create a bi-monthly eNewsletter and distribute to relevant students and key stakeholders
Manage IT equipment set up for new staff and monitoring IT systems.
Manage the online assessment processes and procedures.
Assist students with student portal issues and access
Manage the Business Asset Register
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
