About the Role
Our Wellness Officers embody inspired care and are the heartbeat of the team. You’ll enhance the physical and social well-being of our residents by providing opportunities for connection and community building.
What do we need you to do?
- You’ll identify and seek out opportunities to connect clients with social and wellness activities.
- Collaborate with the care team to help residents set and achieve their goals.
- Build rapport with residents and families that will encourage recreational interests and make their dignity and independence a top priority
- You’ll support residents with health and wellness activities, to enable participation in the community
- Ideally, we’re looking for previous experience in aged/community care or Lifestyle programs in Aged Care, but if you’re qualified and just starting out on your career, we’d love to hear from you too.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills and a gift for working collaboratively with your team
- Great organisation and time management skills, and confidence using various technologies including documentation systems, email and mobile phones.
- You’ll need to be resilient and resourceful and be able to live our values of compassion, respect, imagination, and boldness every day.
