Your Opportunity
As our Care Team Leader, you will lead and manage a team of 20-40 Care Workers across Sydney’s Inner West and Parramatta region to deliver exceptional, person-centred home care services within Anglicare At Home. By fostering a culture of outstanding customer service and ensuring compliance with organisational values, you will help enrich lives and strengthen communities in line with Anglicare’s mission.
With integrity and compassion, you will:
- Lead, mentor, and support your team, fostering a culture aligned with Anglicare’s Christian mission and values.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with legislative and organisational standards.
- Manage scheduling and coverage to ensure continuity of care, addressing planned and unplanned staff absences.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support effective service delivery.
What You'll Bring
You are a compassionate, collaborative leader who inspires excellence and aligns with our values of integrity, justice, compassion, and excellence. You bring proven expertise in aged care and team leadership, with a commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred services.
You will also need:
- Certificate IV or higher in Aged Care/Community Services or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a team leader role within aged care or community services.
- Strong understanding of community-based aged care services.
Ideally, you will also have:
- Extensive experience managing teams in a dynamic, client-focused environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency with systems and technology applications relevant to care management.
