About the Opportunity

We're seeking experienced Theatre Technicians to join our Performance Arts Culture Cessnock team on a casual basis.

In this back of house role, you’ll support the technical delivery of performances and events operating staging elements, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safe setup, pack-down, and storage. You’ll use your expertise to manage regular maintenance and contribute to a safe work environment in line with WHS and Council requirements.

You’ll work both independently and as part of a team to deliver professional, high-quality service to performers and patrons.

Evening and weekend shifts will be required in this role.

Remuneration

$37.58 - $43.52 per hour (inclusive of casual loading)

About You

Our successful candidates will have a minimum Certificate III qualification in theatre production, or demonstrated experience in a similar industry/role. Your demonstrated experience in the use and maintenance of technical theatre equipment and understanding of performing arts venue operations and practices will see you thrive in providing quality technical services at the Performance Arts Culture Cessnock venue. You must also possess a paid Working with Children Check.
