The Role
As the Head of Theatre Operations, you will provide dynamic and strategic support to the Group General Manager Crown Entertainment, as well as drive operational excellence across the Theatre team.
This role will be responsible for overseeing the theatre business operations for both back of house and front of house operations as well as providing an escalation point for the Manager AV & Technical Systems. This position will play an important role in ensuring resource coordination and project/planning monitoring to ensure timely and budget compliant completion of operations and projects.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Proven experience in Theatre Operations or Event management, with a track record of successful leadership
- Strong financial management, budget oversight and performance reporting
- Expertise in theatre productions or technical support
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Proficiency in project management software, Teams and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and risk management practices related to theatre operations
- Ability to work in a fast paced and busy environment
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and act decisively
- Knowledge within the Theatre and broader Entertainment network
Additional Information
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Theatre Studies, entertainment or a related field
