About the Role
We are looking for a passionate, people-driven Cellar Door Manager to take the reins of our cellar door operations and help us create unforgettable experiences for every visitor. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves managing a friendly and professional hospitality team at a premium venue. You will work closely with the owner and small management team.
Key Details
- Location: Oakbank, Adelaide Hills, SA
- Days: Thursday to Monday (weekends required, daytime only)
- Employment Type: Full-time, permanent preferred
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily operations of the Cellar Door and Kitchen
- Hands-on front-of-house service, hosting and customer care
- Recruit, induct, train, and review FOH/kitchen staff
- Build weekly rosters and manage team schedules
- Manage stock ordering and supplier relationships
- Handle inquiries, bookings, and reservation systems
- Ensure Cellar Door presentation is always inviting and immaculate
- Plan and coordinate events in collaboration with our team
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Cellar Door or Front-of-House hospitality roles
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Warm, professional, and customer-focused approach
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with calm and confidence
- Passion for wine, food, and regional hospitality
- Strong communication and organisational abilities
- A growth mindset – always looking to improve and innovate
