Role Summary
As part of a dynamic and globally connected team, this role plays a pivotal part in shaping strategic direction and enhancing operational performance across key commodity sectors. The successful candidate will contribute to business growth by fostering cross-regional collaboration, driving commercial initiatives, and supporting market alignment across chartering and logistics functions. This is a unique opportunity to help expand regional presence in Australia and New Zealand, bringing critical insight and executional strength to a complex and fast-paced trading environment.
Responsibilities
- Optimise daily shipping operations to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across target markets.
- Drive strategic initiatives to support long-term growth and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with global offices to streamline transportation of commodities including fertilizers, construction materials, agricultural products, and energy resources.
- Support expansion efforts in Australia and New Zealand, including assessing the feasibility of establishing a permanent regional presence.
- Assist chartering teams in aligning market activities with broader business objectives.
About you
- Minimum three years of experience in bulk shipping
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-cultural communication skills
- Strong analytical mindset with a structured, data-driven approach
Relevant Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in international shipping and trade
- Fluent in English and Scandinavian language (written and spoken)
- Advanced user of the systems Sedna, Veson, PowerBI, AXS Marine.
- Experience from Atlantic Dry Bulk Market, Asian Market and Australian Market.
