About the role
Cherry Tree Kindergarten is seeking a full-time Childcare Educator to join our dedicated team in Sutherland, NSW. As an Educator, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to our young learners aged 2-5 years.
What you'll be doing
- Implementing engaging, play-based educational programs that support the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of children
- Observing and documenting children's progress, interests and developmental needs
- Ensuring a safe, secure and nurturing environment for all children
- Building strong relationships with children, families and the wider community
- Collaborating with the teaching team to continually improve educational practices
- Adhering to all relevant childcare regulations, policies and procedures
What we're looking for
- Cert III Diploma or Trainee trained Educator
- Demonstrated experience working as a Childcare Educator in a similar setting
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families
- Passion for creating inclusive, play-based learning environments
- Adaptable and flexible approach to meeting the diverse needs of young children
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- As our service promotes a child safe environment, all applicants must also have a current Working with Children’s Check.
