- Plan and execute our Capital Works program

- Salary: Band 5 - $75,511 to $87,624 + superannuation + RDO
We are looking for a Civil Design Officer to conduct surveys and support the civil design team in creating civil designs for Capital Works Projects. The role involves actively contributing to the planning and execution of the capital works program, offering technical advice and support across a wide array of assets and projects.
- Undertake feature surveys using GPS/GNSS, Total Station and contribute to project scoping, design development, estimation, and scheduling of works.
- Drafting of roads, drainages, carparks, laneways, shared paths, footpaths, and other related projects using AutoCAD.
- Undertake feasibility assessments such as heritage, environmental and cultural considerations, and legislative requirements for the purposes of determining project scope, design development and estimation of works.
- Co-ordinate and liaise with other respective authorities and agencies for the purposes of contributing to feasibility investigations or works and project delivery.
- Formal relevant tertiary recognised Civil Engineering Degree/ Diploma.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Current Victorian Driving License.
- Construction site safety induction (white) card.
