We are seeking a talented individual to join our Claims Consultant, WorkCare Claims team at JLT Risk Solutions Pty Ltd. This role will be based in Perth. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
JLT Risk Solutions Pty Ltd are a standalone business unit within the Marsh Pacific overarching business that enjoys a 95% market share cross Australia. We’ve developed a unique method to provide risk financing and management solutions for Local Government clients. JLT works with mutual funds in particular, demonstrates this ability to work innovatively with our clients to produce effective solutions designed to protect their assets, people and community. The Claims Consultant will provide essential claims management support to the Senior Claims Consultant and Team Leader, managing a small portfolio of Workers Compensation claims while collaborating with members, clients, and the broader claims team.
We will count on you to:
Deliver timely work output on the claims management system.
Work effectively with your team, internal and external stakeholders.
Deal efficiently with Council enquiries.
Provide high-quality claims management services.
What you need to have:
Demonstrated experience in managing insurance claims
Strong communication and personable skills.
Computer literacy, including intermediate skills in MS Excel, Outlook & Word.
Self-motivation and essential organisational skills.

Experience in Workers Compensation Claims
An understanding of the fundamentals of the Workers Compensation and Injury Management Act
Ability to plan and work independently and prioritise workloads.
