About the role
As a Client Growth Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of our customer growth strategy, helping small to medium businesses discover the value of Global Payments’ innovative products and services. You’ll focus on engaging new prospects through outbound calls, guiding them through how we can support their goals, and turning conversations into trusted, long-term partnerships.
This is more than a sales role, it’s about connecting, listening, and helping business owners feel empowered to make smart decisions.
What You’ll Do:
Initiate outbound conversations with prospective clients, building genuine relationships and understanding their business needs;
Share how our solutions can help businesses grow, translating technical features into real-world value;
Qualify leads and identify best-fit opportunities, turning them into successful, long-term customers;
Support and coach new clients so they feel confident using our products;
Encourage referrals through trusted, ongoing relationships;
Collaborate with the team to improve and evolve our customer engagement strategy.
About You
You're a natural communicator and relationship-builder, who enjoys connecting with people and having meaningful conversations. You're comfortable picking up the phone and thrive on seeing the positive impact your work can have. You may already have sales or customer experience, or you might be looking to break into a role where your people skills and empathy can truly shine.

You’ll Bring:
Previous experience in sales or customer engagement (B2B preferred) is ideal, but not essential;
Strong communication skills and a natural ability to simplify and explain things clearly;
A proactive mindset, with the confidence to reach out and start conversations;
An interest in technology or FinTech and how it can support small businesses;
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail;
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team;
A customer-first mindset with empathy, curiosity, and resilience;
Experience using Salesforce or other CRM platforms is a bonus.
Salary
The salary for this role is a base of $70, 000 per annum + superannuation + commission with an On Target Earning (OTE) of $100, 000 per annum + superannuation.
