Overview
We are seeking a skilled leader to manage a team of Cloud Solution Architects (CSA) focused on expanding our Cloud and AI services for Enterprise clients in both commercial and public sectors. You will guide your team to deliver technical solutions, drive platform adoption, and maintain operational excellence across three core areas: Customer Centricity, Technical Leadership, and Business Impact. Leveraging strategies like the Tech Maturity Model, you'll ensure scalable and effective service delivery. Your leadership will help customers maximize their MS investment with secure, resilient architectures, while fostering a high-performing, diverse, and inclusive team environment.
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
3+ years people management experience, including managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, and/or technical architect managers.
Additional or preferred qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 12+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
6+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
6+ years experience leading technical projects, teams, or functions.
Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).
5+ years people management experience, including managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, and/or technical architect managers.
Responsibilities
Business Impact
Guide the team in adhering to operational standards and practices throughout sales and delivery processes. Coordinate activities across Microsoft and customer groups to meet defined objectives and ensure customer satisfaction. Monitor the team’s approach to anticipating and managing business and technical risks, applying methodological and governance principles to identify, communicate, and reduce such risks. Ensure work is executed in line with industry and Microsoft procedures. Direct the team in prioritizing tasks according to business needs and aligning with organizational goals.
Customer Centricity
Support the team in maintaining efficient delivery and a consistent customer experience. Encourage the use of customer and partner feedback to understand and realize success conditions. Oversee team actions towards addressing customer risks and challenges, handling confidence calls, and implementing strategies to enhance customer experience, value realization, and the adoption of AI and cloud solutions. Facilitate the exchange of customer insights and feedback with engineering teams to inform product development and identify successful approaches.
Technical Leadership
Guide the team in identifying gaps during delivery, communicating them to stakeholders, and connecting findings across business and technology areas to support scalable improvements. Provide direction in offering subject matter expertise and contributing to internal communities globally. Advise the team on applying industry knowledge and representing Microsoft solutions through presentations and community engagement.
