We’re seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented ConnectWise Automate Specialist to join our IT Operations team. This role is for a deep expert in ConnectWise Automate (formerly LabTech) who will lead configuration, automation, scripting, training, and support—bridging best practice consulting into our in‑house operations and client requirements.
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments of existing ConnectWise Automate configuration and workflows and deliver tailored remediation/improvement plans.
- Configure and optimise ConnectWise Automate per industry best practices—including patching, alerts, monitoring, plugins, data views, scripts, and automations.
- Develop, deploy and maintain scripts and monitors for software deployment, patch management, reporting, and self‑healing tasks.
- Provide advanced training and knowledge transfer to internal staff (group sessions and 1:1 coaching).
- Deliver ongoing support and administration: patch approvals, system updates, incident resolution, custom development, and plugin updates.
- Produce custom dashboards, data views, and reports to provide operational visibility.
- Integrate ConnectWise Automate seamlessly with other key tools (e.g. ConnectWise PSA/Manage, backup, antivirus, RMM variants).
- Drive continuous improvement with regular reviews and optimisation aligned to business growth objectives.
Skills & Experience
- Proven track record administering and optimising ConnectWise Automate (LabTech) in a service provider or enterprise IT setting.
- Deep scripting experience (PowerShell, SQL, VBScript, or similar) plus proficiency in report/data views and monitors.
- Skilled in RMM/IT automation best practices across patch management, monitoring, alerts, and self‑healing.
- Strong understanding of network, systems (Windows, Linux/FreeBSD), and IT infrastructure.
- Excellent communicator with a passion for training and documentation.
- Ability to operate both independently and collaboratively across IT and business teams.
- Preferably Certifications in ConnectWise Automate or related products.
- Familiarity with ConnectWise Manage/PSA is desirable.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
