About The Role:
This role is within the CASG environment working in JC2SPO. The candidate will, on behalf of the Export Control Manager, enable the Commonwealth and Industry to obtain and maintain access to advanced military communications technology principally sourced through from the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and implement legislation and policy relevant to Defence Projects.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in actively managing key stakeholder expectations and requirements.
- Ability to develop and maintain Project Plans, Instructions, and Registers.
- Experience with records and information management, preferably in a Defence environment.
- Working with limited guidance, demonstrating initiative and responsibility.
About You:
- Experience in and knowledge of US export controls and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
- Experience in Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sales(DCS).
