We're looking for an experienced and motivated leader to join our Information and Client Services team, someone who thrives on innovation, client connection, and delivering high-impact services in a dynamic environment.
In this exciting leadership role, you'll manage a highly skilled team of library professionals who deliver research, reference, and information services both onsite and online. You'll have the opportunity to lead meaningful service improvements, drive engagement across digital and physical spaces, and ensure our services meet the needs of a diverse and growing client base.
In this varied role you will lead and develop a talented team to deliver high-quality, responsive information, reference, and research services across multiple platforms. You will foster a culture of excellence, resolve front-line issues and continuously improve State Library services based on client feedback.
You will work with the team to develop online content, prepare presentations, and training programs that showcase the value of the library to audiences.
We are looking for a people leader who is strategic thinker with a commitment to service excellence. Someone who thrives in a client-focused environment and has experience in service innovation, and data-driven decision making.
To be eligible for this opportunity, you must hold a relevant degree and be eligible for professional membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA).
