About the role
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Operational Services Officer to join our team based in Port Lincoln. This role primarily involves courier duties using a work-provided vehicle, delivering vital items and specimens to sites across the lower Eyre Peninsula. As a key part of our logistics and specimen transport network, you'll play an important role in supporting regional health services by ensuring timely and safe delivery across locations.
In addition to courier responsibilities, you’ll be involved in handling pathology specimens and performing essential administrative tasks. Duties may include specimen sorting, data entry, and responding to internal and external enquiries with professionalism and accuracy. Full training will be provided, and you will work under close direction as you develop your skills. Hold a current Class C driver’s licence and feel confident driving across regional areas
Demonstrate strong communication skills and a professional approach to customer service
Show attention to detail in handling specimens and completing administrative tasks accurately
Willing to learn and follow set protocols, with training provided on the job
