Who we are looking for
The Head of Marketing, CRD and Alpha Platform, APAC holds a pivotal role – bringing a ‘One State Street’ approach to clients, partners and prospects, to better drive impact. This role works to strengthen our brand, build awareness, and drive sales opportunities by developing a marketing strategy focused on supporting our regional sales organization and positioning State Street and Charles River(‘CRD’) as a leader in the industry, leveraging marketing tactics including virtual and in person events, campaigns, thought leadership, etc.
As a successful candidate for this full-time role, you will help define the objectives of marketing activities and oversee quality control throughout their life cycle. You may also be asked to make recommendations for improvements to our marketing approach, processes and procedures to further enhance our strategy.
You are an organized, proactive team player with energy that might be described as “infectious” and we are looking for you to bring positivity and continuous support to those around you. Working across multiple divisions, your ability to collaborate, foster relationships and bringing solutions to the table are essential assets. This role would suit someone who wishes to gain experience within a marketing team in a financial services or software company.
Responsibilities & Tasks Include:
1)Working as an integral part of the CRD and Alpha Platform, the role requires close collaboration with the global State Street marketing, sales and coverage teams, to assist with defining and delivering marketing objectives and a comprehensive, combined marketing strategy
2)Have direct responsibility for ensuring all regional marketing activities are executed on within specified timeframes
3)Communicate regularly with the wider State Street teams seeking their input as plans and campaigns are developed to ensure CRD and Alpha Platform marketing needs are appropriately factored in from an early stage regionally and globally
4)Act as the primary interface between marketing teams regionally and globally to ensure that the appropriate marketing activities and content are represented in a way that is consumable for our clients, prospects and partners.
5)Draft and submit budget proposals, accruals and recommend changes where necessary
6)Build, develop, and grow any business relationships with the coverage and regional teams, vital to the success of the campaign / project
7)Proficient public relations skills which include press release drafting and approval management, identifying PR opportunities and knowledge of media.

Education and Experience:
  • 7-9 years relevant marketing, events and communications experience, preferably in a financial services organization
  • A degree-level education
  • Excellence in verbal and written communications and knowledge of online, client and industry event best practices
  • Experience managing marketing projects: communications, online - webinars, podcasts and other events - industry and client, PR, brand, editorial, thought leadership, and partnerships/sponsorships. This entails a good understanding of all marketing channels, including interactive and social media
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to interface with colleagues from all disciplines, backgrounds and cultures to produce content and events which are interesting and relevant
  • Working in matrix structures and cross-cultural environments with an ability to operate on their own, as part of a team and globally
  • Ensuring that the highest level of integrity and ethical behavior is continuously adhered to
  • Flexible hours may be required to manage projects across regions / time zones
Skills Required
  • Project management and a good understanding of marketing procedures, deliverables and timeframes
  • Ability to operate within a fast-paced, global environment
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience with video production/writing and Adobe Suite editing/ON24/ Cvent (not essential, but a plus)
