About the RoleThis hands-on role supports the Cremation and Client Field Teams in operating cremation equipment, preparing ashes, and maintaining high standards of care and cleanliness. You’ll be part of a team that helps families say goodbye with peace of mind.
Key Responsibilities- Operate cremation and ashes processing equipment
- Sort and tag pets accurately, ensuring proper documentation
- Prepare and QA ashes for return to clients
- Assist with unloading pets and managing cool room storage
- Greet clients for viewings and deliver ashes to homes or vet clinics
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the crematorium facility
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and repairs
- Liaise with internal teams and vet clinics as needed
- Comfortable working in high-temperature environments
- Experience with industrial equipment and power tools
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Good computer and technical skills
- Emotionally intelligent and professional communicator
- Q Fever vaccinated (or willing to obtain)
