THE OPPORTUNITY
Are you a confident leader that loves helping customers? Well, this hybrid position is perfect for you! Join our Gepps Cross retail store, managing the performance of a motivated customer service team to ensure that customers orders are ready for pick-up and loading on-time, every time.
This is an ongoing,full-time role, working across Monday to Friday with a rotating Saturday roster (with loading rates and potential for overtime).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise day-to-day operation of pick-up area, ensuring that team members complete duties efficiently and effectively.
- Greet and serving customers, ensuring that orders are ready for collection.
- Liaise with other internal and external stakeholders to efficiently and effectively resolve any concerns raised by the customer.
- Load customer vehicles according to the safety guidelines.
- Move stock and finished goods around the store and surrounding safely.
- Picking, packing and scanning stock ready for pick-up.
- Assist retail team with in-store duties as required.
- Report to Store Manager and HIS Operations Manager on pick-up related performance and activities.
- General housekeeping duties to ensure a tidy work environment.
- Strict adherence to critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment
ABOUT YOU
- Forklift license or willingness to obtain.
- Previous experience supervising a small team in either retail, dispatch, warehousing or related environments.
- Proven ability to provide solutions to enhance the customer's experience.
- Previous experience within customer service/inventory management.
- Highly organised with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment as well as autonomously
- Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
