Community Accessability is a not-for-profit organisation, delivering Aged Care and NDIS services across regional Victoria and Metro Melbourne. With over 200 staff and 100 dedicated volunteers, we work in partnership with participants, carers, and professionals to deliver high-quality, flexible, and person-centred support.
About the role
- The Customer Service and Scheduling Officer plays a key frontline role in supporting older people to remain in their homes with dignity, independence, and choice.While the role is heavily focused on workforce scheduling and rostering, it is equally about delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will be a trusted point of contact for clients, families, and staff — working to ensure aged care services are delivered smoothly, respectfully, and in line with individual needs and care plans.
What you'll do
- Provide warm, responsive customer service to older clients, families, and carers — supporting them to access the services they need, when they need them.
- Create and maintain rosters that balance client preferences, staff availability, and continuity of care.
- Match workers to client needs based on qualifications, rapport, and scheduling compatibility.
- Accurately maintain client and roster information in scheduling systems and databases.
- Record scheduling activity, workforce data, and client hours accurately for reporting and compliance purposes.
Essential
- Administrative Skills & Experience: Strong organisational and record-keeping abilities.
- Certificate III in Community Services or similar
- Aged Care Experience: Prior experience in aged care or related roles.
- Customer Service Experience: Previous customer service roles.
- Cultural Competency: Proven ability to work with diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to find solutions for client needs.
- Time Management: Efficient task prioritization and management.
- Customer Service Experience: Previous customer service roles.
- Cultural Awareness: Understanding diverse client needs.
- Sector Knowledge: Familiarity with aged care and community services.
