Job Responsibilities:
As a Dealership Heavy Vehicle Truck Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy vehicles, including trucks and trailers.
- Conducting thorough inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, and technical issues.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements.
- Utilising diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve vehicle issues accurately.
- Collaborating with the service team to ensure timely and efficient repairs.
- Providing exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures to clients.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- A valid certification as a Heavy Vehicle Technician qualification.
- Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing heavy vehicles, particularly trucks.
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and technical systems in heavy vehicles.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and software.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex vehicle issues.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- $55,000 to $$76,515 plus super
