Role Description/Criteria
St.Peter Chanel Catholic Primary School, Deer Park is seeking a Deputy Principal who is able to inspire others and be part of an energetic & high functioning team. The successful applicant will also lead the school in an area of expertise, as well as in administrative and pastoral duties.
Selection Criteria
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
- A commitment to Catholic Education that includes a deep understanding and alignment of Catholic ethos and identity.
- A shared enthusiasm for working with a committed and high performing Leadership Team, Educators & Staff.
- Leadership in School Improvement, innovation and change.
- Exceptional relational and communication skills, with the ability to lead, inspire and support others.
- A commitment to engage with our school community, strengthening partnerships with families and parish to enrich the educational experience.
Special Requirements
- accreditation to teach Religious Education
- current Victorian Institute of Teaching full registration
- recent experience and success in a Position of Leadership or Deputy Principal role
- a Masters Degree or equivalent postgraduate study would be viewed favourably
- a strong commitment to and knowledge of current child safe requirements
