e-commerce platforms while enhancing our brand visibility through targeted and innovative social media marketing strategies.
Role Overview:
As the Digital Marketing & Online Sales E-Commerce Coordinator, you will oversee our two Shopify-based websites, driving their performance and enhancing brand awareness across major social media platforms. This multifaceted role intertwines e-commerce operations, administration, digital marketing, content creation, and brand storytelling to support our ambitious sales growth targets and foster a deeper connection with our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of all online sales through our websites. Manage payment processing for online orders, and complete the administration, invoicing, and preparation of parts for dispatch to the customer.
- Ensure the Shopify platforms are expertly optimised for Progressive Web App and Quick Shop Solutions. You will maintain accurate product listings and ensure a seamless navigation experience for our customers.
- Learn and adapt to our in-house inventory and point of sales software.
- Regularly refresh our online presence by updating banners, expanding product ranges, and maintaining engaging blogs and promotional materials.
- Collaborate closely with suppliers and internal teams to guarantee the timely and efficient upload of new products and promotional campaigns that captivate our audience.
- Delve into site analytics and conversion metrics, providing insightful monthly reports, along with actionable suggestions for improvement.
- Craft and implement a compelling content calendar for Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms, tailored specifically to resonate with our diverse audience.
- Produce captivating visual and written content, encompassing product highlights, behind-the-scenes glimpses, tutorials, race highlights, and exciting promotional campaigns that ignite enthusiasm.
- Foster community engagement by responding to online messages, comments, and inquiries, creating a sense of belonging among our followers.
- Utilise platform-specific tools (such as Meta Business Suite) to efficiently schedule, track, and enhance our posts, ensuring maximum reach and interaction.
- You will report directly to the Managing Director, and collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure that digital strategies align with strong communication and coordinating efforts, while striving to create a cohesive approach that elevates our brand presence and drives sales growth.
- Strategically coordinate online promotional campaigns around product launches, exciting events, and racing seasons to create buzz and drive engagement.
- Build and nurture relationships with influencers, drivers, and racing teams, paving the way for collaborations and generating user-generated content that amplifies our brand.
- Stay ahead of the competition by monitoring industry trends and competitor activity, proactively identifying new opportunities for elevating our brand exposure.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience managing Shopify websites or similar e-commerce platforms, showcasing your expertise in online retail.
- Proficiency in social media marketing, content creation, and community management, with a knack for engaging audiences.
- Exceptional written and visual communication skills that resonate with diverse demographics.
- A solid understanding of SEO principles, digital performance metrics, and marketing automation tools to optimise our strategies effectively.
- Self-motivated and able to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with design tools (such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) that will help bring your creative visions to life.
- Knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp) to enhance our communication strategies.
