Digital Product Manager / Tech Lead
Part-time (approx. 3 days per week) | Remote within Australia
Initial 6-month contract with view to permanent
Salary: $120,000 per annum (FTE), pro rata to 22.8 hours per week (0.6 FTE) + access to NFP salary packaging.

At Global Sisters, we exist to remove barriers to women’s economic participation and security. As a national award-winning nonprofit, we’re seeking a hands-on Digital Product Manager & Tech Lead ready to lead, shape and evolve the digital platforms that connect thousands of women to the tools, networks, and support they need to launch and grow micro-businesses.
We aim to build a resilient and scalable tech ecosystem that empowers both our team and the community. This role is key to ensuring our platforms evolve with us and continue to support women’s economic security at scale, creating real, lasting impact across Australia.
We’re excited to welcome someone onboard on a 6-month part-time contract to start -with genuine opportunity to grow with us over time.
In this role you will:
- Oversee the performance, optimisation and accessibility of our digital platforms – the Global Sisters website, Sister Portal and Back Her Brilliance directory – to ensure a secure, stable and user-friendly experience.
- Act as the technical lead across our digital ecosystem: independently delivering enhancements, resolving issues across web, CRM and communication systems, and collaborating with external developers and tech partners as needed.
- Lead the roadmap for key projects including Portal 2.0 and the Back Her Brilliance directory roll-out, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy, user needs and available resources.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools, integrations and technologies that strengthen usability, impact and efficiency across the organisation, while upholding best practices in system architecture, data security, and digital compliance.
The ideal candidate will have:

- A strong background in digital product management and/or technical leadership.
- A solutions mindset and comfort working in a lean, agile environment.
- Hands-on experience with WordPress development and leading the build and maintenance of custom platforms.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Confidence in managing external vendors, technical budgets and development pipelines.
- A practical understanding of UX principles, system architecture, data protection and security.
- Experience supporting and optimising internal systems such as CRMs, communication tools and integrations.
- Experience with WordPress, LearnDash, Hubspot, AWS Hosting, PWAs, Google Analytics and Directories is preferred.
