Disability Support Worker- Day program (Centre-Based)

We are currently seeking a Disability Support Worker to join our team and assist with centre- based day programs.
About the Role:
This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced support worker who enjoys leading and participating in cooking sessions, arts, and crafts, and engaging group activities. you will be supporting individuals to build skills, confidence, and connections in a supportive and creative environment.
key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and support participants in activities, including cooking, arts and crafts, and community based programs
- Promote independence, skill-building, and social inclusion.
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to person- centred support planning
- Work collaboratively with other team members and families
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all participants
Requirements:
- Must have experience as a disability support worker
- Genuine interest in cooking, arts and creative engagement
- Valid Drivers License
- Current Yellow Card and Blue Card
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Casual
Pay: $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
Experience:
- Disability support worker: 1 year (Required)
Licence/Certification:
- Full Driver Licence (Required)
- Yellow card and Blue card (Required)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (Required)
Work Location: In person
Expected Start Date: 30/06/2025
