Part of the CSR Group, our Logistics Business Unit has been created to embed leading practice logistics & supply chain solutions across CSR to establish a platform for growth capability, customer service and efficiency. Our aim is to improve safety, service, people, and costs whilst contributing to, and delivering the strategic change for the benefit of CSR and our customers.
The Opportunity:
CSR are currently Seeking a dedicated Distribution Centre Supervisor to lead our Gyprock Warehouse Morning Team based in Ingleburn.
Working Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm.
Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager, you will deliver exceptional customer service and achieve operational excellence in warehousing and distribution. Responsibilities include driving team performance through people development, asset maintenance, safety enhancement, and financial support.
About the role:
- Champion best practice initiatives and drive a continuous improvement culture through collaboration with team and stakeholders to develop ideas and implement effective solutions.
- Build operational excellence in safety, people, operational performance and customer service, whilst delivering viable commercial outcomes, through a planned and prioritised approach to operational improvement.
- Maintain appropriate inventory controls to ensure quality handover between manufacturing and warehouse, accurate stock holdings, clear location management, pick accuracy and accuracy of stock ordered and despatched.
- Identify, implement, and monitor appropriate KPIs and ensure robust measurement and reporting in place to communicate performance and progress.
- Build and maintain an exceptional team culture in addition to creating a high-performance team who are accountable for all their actions.
About you:
- 3+ years in warehouse and transport operations.
- Experience in delivering changes within a Logistics environment.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with warehouse management systems and transport management systems preferred.
- Demonstratable delivery of successful tactical Logistics improvements.
- Active, hands-on approach with results focus.
