National Capital Private Hospital is looking to employ Casual staff for the Support Services Team. We are looking for bright enthusiastic people to work across the positions of:
Domestic Cleaning / Food Services
National Capital Private Hospital is a 148 bed accredited hospital located in central Canberra, and co-located on the Canberra Hospital campus in Garran.
Ideally you would have previously worked in a similar environment and be a team player, motivated, and able to communicate to staff and patients and demonstrate a high level of initiative. However, experience in this role is not essential as all training will be provided. You will play a role in providing support and assistance to nursing staff, cleaning duties which include cleaning of patient rooms and handing out of patient meals. Ideally you would have previously worked in a hospital environment and be a team player, motivated, and able to communicate to staff and patients, and demonstrate a high level of initiative.
As a Support Services Assistant your responsibilities will include:
- Provide high standard of food and cleaning services
- Operate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures
- Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients
Selection Criteria:
- Experience in a Hospital/Hotel/Aged care setting may be an advantage
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as part of a team.
- Attention to detail
- Works well independently and within a team
- Must have the right to work in Australia
