About the Role:
Baptcare Amberlea, a Baptcare Residential Aged Care facility in Drouin , Victoria, is actively welcoming new residents and is offering casual opportunities for Environmental Services Assistants . We are looking for dependable candidates who can work flexible hours to ensure high standards of hygiene and service are maintained.
The major accountabilities of the role are the efficiency of the cleaning tasks and the quality of the relationship the incumbent has with residents, which in turn impacts the overall service standard and atmosphere of the facility.
About you
If you have experience carrying out a range of domestic tasks to maintain hygiene standards in a home-like environment, then this might be the role for you!
Some of your tasks include:
Making residents beds
Cleaning resident’s rooms including ensuite, communal and administration areas of the facility
Removal and appropriate disposal of waste: including recycling where appropriate and placing of bins for collection
Assisting with laundering resident’s clothes and other items as required
Other tasks and errands required to maintain a pleasant, caring, and safe environment for the residents
Restocking of linen trolleys and cleaning and paper products in all areas
